Crisscrossing the Panhandle State – My Oklahoma Bucket List 2

Ryan Eller

I am a big dreamer. My wife usually makes fun of me for it, but I just can’t help it…I dream big. When I put my Bucket List together I added things from all over the world. Go to Rome. Ride the Eye of London. Walk the Great Wall of China. There is so much of the world that I want to see.

And then I start thinking about the US. There are so many places I still want to see and things I want to do within our borders: Visit the Washington Memorial, surf the waves of Hawaii, or ride a cable car in San Francisco.

But, there is so much in Oklahoma that I still want to discover. I created an Oklahoma Bucket List packed full of fun activities for any avid bucket lister. You can check out the complete list with pictures and links on my Pinterest page. Below is my list with an “X” next to the buckets I have already checked.

So here are a few to add to your list:

(You need a few more Western Oklahoma items )
Visit the National Route 66 Museum in Elk City
Eat a taco from Taco Factory in Elk City (I stop every time I go back)
Take a pic with the Elk statue in Elk City- that Anita’s brother sculpted
Ride the carousel in the City Park in Elk City- That Anita’s dad raised the money for
Visit the Thomas Stafford space museum in Weatherford
Take Sweet Baby Jane to the Jasmine Moran Childrens Museum in Seminole
Attend the Rattlesnake Round up in Mangum
Stay at the Skirvin in downtown OKC

most of these you can do on your trip down Route 66!
